An interesting toy ....................but does it create a blind spot ?

Interesting.
Yes there is a blind spot.
It looks a bit crude, I am pretty sure it will develop into a better looking display with a transparent presentation.
Can imagine sunlight and fogging being difficult to overcome.

Looks good but as you say will it create a blind spot I am sure it will improve with a bit more development
Thought it looked quite good until I went on the website and saw the big tv screen jammed in the lid. If it was a hud projected onto the visor that would be better, but I guess it would be a lot more expensive too. A good idea and not a bad price, but needs development. Also, we could be in danger of gadget overload!
Oh goody. Yet more distracting solutions to a non existant problem. Why don't these people solve real problems like non-fogging visors, cold hands & feet, etc. Oh wait,.... they are not techie/sexy things are they?

Another solution to problem we don't have.
Our bikes already have mirrors and instruments.
We'd all be up in arms about a car driver wearing Google glass.
PS. Boomer: Pinlock is THE answer to misty visors.

My feet are sexy and Pinlock is only the answer for Pinlock enabled visors. I had Lazer Revolution helmets for 15 years with their double glazed NO FOG visors. Not available any more. :-(

Most makes have a DIY/generic version. The Pinlock enabled ones only have holes pre drilled to push the pins in.

I know but they can't be used on my Shark Evoline 2 due to the way the visor seals. :-(
Other than that the Evoline is the best lid I have ever owned.
