I've just had the Project T footrest lowering kit for the rears installed on mine, together with ER6 footrest bars. They lower the original position by 70mm and move it forward by 40mm.

The only problem has been that the bracket for the peg nearest to the silencer (standard can) is very close to it. I filed (by hand) around 1/4" from the bracket and this has eased things.

thanks, could you please let me know where did you get the rider's footrests - ER6 footrest bars?

Lizard, I only had the rears modified, not the riders. The ER6 footrests fitted to the rear were from Seastar Superbikes, Kawasaki Dealer near to Norwich.

These may do the trick on the front.

Thanks guys for your comments and the link. Do you know how that works with adjustment of the clutch and rear break? If I go for the lower foot pegs I will need to lower the the gear lever and rear break.

I've just fitted the shinobi (spelling?) ones. Very well made for a start. Would have liked a rubber insert .  The gear change is easily adjusted and is a doddle to set up. The rear brake on the other hand is very fiddly. I lowered the pedal to the max and is still slightly too high and feels very stiff. Only sat on the bike for now so I'll see what it like when I get round to taking it out. I also had to file the back of the adaptor which mounts to the bike as the peg was angled too far up. I emailed the seller on eBay and he's sending me out some new adapters as he thinks I may have been sent the wrong ones so we will see what happens when they arrive.  The lower foot pegs do make a noticeable  difference on the hips and knees.

For a brief moment I thought you had converted it to a FS1E with pedals
