Hi, A subject that has come up many times on this board, the GTR plugs are good for 50 k plus, so depending on your mileage and the running condition of the bike is it worth the hassle of removing plastic, tank, airbox and all the other associated junk. Dealers charge mighty for this as its a big job. Most owners wait until the bike is having a valve service and have some quality iridium/platimun ones fitted while the bike is opened up

however ive seen a video of someone changing the plugs with the tank on by using some fancy sort of  2 part short spark plug spanner modification

I had mine changed at 24k valve service. Dealer showed old ones to me and they were looking a bit tired.
