How is the K, I've not seen any report on your ride home or subsequent experiences. Is there anything you miss about the GTR
Colin
I'd quite like to upgrade to the K but I don't do enough miles to justify it to myself
The bikes great. To be honest apart from riding it home at the end of November and a very brief ride on one other day to a local bike shop I've not really been anywhere on it.
I've been busy sorting the garage out and doing some modifications to my earlier work in the garage. Work has been a pain as well, always at work when the weather is good and vice versa.
I can't say there's nothing I miss about the GTR as it was a great bike and I have many, many fond memories of journeys I have experienced on it. Time will tell in the new year when I start actually using the 1600 whether I prefer it more than the Gtr but in all honesty so far it has done nothing more than impress me.
I will of course do a proper report on it as soon as possible, there are quite a few who want to hear about it. Here's a report I found on You Tube and I have to agree with virtually everything he said apart from the clunky gearbox.

I never thought that I could justify getting such a bike but you only live once, I'd heard so much about it I had to give it a go. The price I paid for it was less than the price of a new Gtr and its only done 3500 miles with all the toys on it. The seller paid easily 20k for it I'd guess so they've take the hit.
I have heard that guy before on You Tube ... I forget his "name " but he is quite entertaining ! As you know I love my Gs to bits but next year I shall try the K .... and then wait !!!!!!!
