Hi Guys,
I struggle to find these red side reflectors on the market. Any advice please?
You can see them on some pictures of 1400GTRs They are located also on the front forks.
Thanks,
Jan
They are North America market specification.
Try Ebay USA, or Kawasaki USA for the part number.
Look at cradle kawasaki parts..... American part ... Will add when not on mobile! ;-)
ADDED - " look for the parts fiche for reflectors, and part no 12028. Unfortunately, I can't get a price because its and american part and generally not available in the uk."
Hope that helps...
Neil

At the side has to be orange .

The rear reflectors on the grab rails are red and the front reflectors on the forks are orange. You could probably get them online from a US supplier.

As stated - illegal in UK!
Dangerous too as the red reflector may give a false impression if another vehicles lights pick it up that you were going away from them when you were actually crossing their path

Interesting. Every new bike sold in the US has to have them. What you said about the confusion they may cause makes sense. Shame that our law makers aren't as well informed; don't get me started!!
tomp - the UK regs are nothing other than a red light to rear and no red lights to front.
Side markers are allowed but have to be amber.
Legislation is such to ensure that you always know which way other vehicles are heading!
Amber side markings are usually for long vehicles.

Again, makes sense. Here, the reflectors are there "for our safety". I doubt they do much good, but I leave mine on all my bikes, just in case the do. The red reflectors and amber fork strips are usually the first things to go, here. Especially with Harley riders. Landfills must be riddled with them.
Thank you guys! So I need to get the orange one somewhere for the forks
Like these seen here on my 1975 American spec H2C...they are difficult to find would be awkward to fit and expensive to purchase...I think that I have some somewhere

Here's where the fronts are located on my C14. tp

These were available from David Silver Spares (Honda) in amber during April of this year, and probably still are. I bought two at £11.95 each (ex - Vat) under Part No: 33741340670.
The telephone number for Silver's is 01728 833020 if needed.
Thanks Guys! I checked the David Silver but they want 35 eur for 1 so I will not pay 70 eur for two reflectors. What is so expensive on it, hmm :-(
Have you checked with service departments at dealerships or used/salvage shops? Has to be a ton of those around, from years gone by. Wrecked/partial bikes tossed to the back of the shop. Think of it as a scavenger hunt, and ask some friends "mates" to help with your search. A few pints for the winner, maybe... tomp

From 'down under' everything about lights in the US is weird! Here we are very similar to the UK... (don't get me started on 'antiquated rules!). Back to the topic. WHY are indicators on vehicles in the US red (a brighter red maybe, but still red) than running lights at the back - rather than something 'different' such as 'amber'? Makes no sense to me!
If you talk about turn signals, they are amber in the front and red in the rear. All rearward lights are supposed to be red, except for the license plate and backup lights. All frontwards lights are amber except headlights and fog lights.

Turn signals are allowed to be Amber; just look at almost any imported car. US domestic manufacturers save a few cents per car by combining the brake light with the turn signal. That's why they are red.
You could try a commercial vehicle body builder and or motor factor/dealer as these things tend to be consumables in the world of haulage
