Hi fellow nutters.
Is there anyone on here who can help when out on the bike the other day I noticed my offside headlamp adjuster has gone either fell of or some :censored: has lifted it.
Will I be able to get a replacement from the dealer. Or does someone on here have one or know the part number thanks all in advance . Pross :ohplease:

One of mine fell off as well.... :censored: Just waiting on taking it to the dealer. I have an extended warranty so it should be free for me. Not sure how it works over there.
I think it was a recall item on that model year bike...same happened to mine when it was new and it was repaired f.o.c..

Not a recall. It was a TSB.
Spoke to Cradley kawasaki my local dealer today.
They are no longer available from Kawasaki surprise suprise .
But the fellow there who is good in the parts has told me the 2010 ones will fit and these are held on with a small grub screw . Part no if anyone needs them are 92077-0015 aprox £1.85 each what a rip off :mfr_lol:.
I also checked as someone said on here its not a recall
Checked on our side and it appears to be available at $10.53. I believe that it's the kit with both knobs and screws, but just because it was on the website doesn't mean it is available. I'll know soon enough as I have to take it in for the gear selection not being correct on the screen. It jumps all around. I'll ask about the knobs then.

Yes mate that sounds like the complete kit with the cable as well.
That's why the dealer told me about the ones of the 2010 model that's just the knob and grub screw
The knob was an issue with 2008/2009 GTR's.... The 2010 are exactly the same, but with a grub screw in the middle, annoyingly, the mk1 versions use the same bit behind and should always have had the group screw.... But they didn't.
I also thought the 2009 was changed for a grub screw.... Are you sure your bike is not a 2008 that has been registered in 2009.....?
If it's a black bike, its 2008, if it looks black with a hint of blue, its 2009... I think silver was available both years!

If you look under 'Headlight' you can buy the knob for the 2009 model. Same part number as the 2010 but with an A on the end :yes:

I don't think that there is a cable involved in the US version kit. They just thread the existing hole in the shaft and go on from there so the kit is a couple of bolts, a tap, two k-nobs, and two caps to cover the bolts.
Both adjuster knobs fell off my 2008 model and this fault was rectified by my dealer f.o.c, by installing the later screw secured adjusters

Mine is a 2009 reg but comes up on the records as the 8 model.
Put the new adjusters on nice tight fit they don't want to pull off easy which is good .
The down side is the rod is not tapped for the grub screw :censored:.
I will have to sort out the tap size

They have stopped making the original one which just pushes on .
The only ones available are the type you mention and the new no is 92077-0015.
And the grub screw washer and plastic cap all have numbers :mfr_lol:
