Title: Painting Mud Guard/Fender
Post by: Debs on November 29, 2014, 01:48:14 PM
Because I have broken my front Mud Guard I have been looking on fleabay and they have a few on there.

First question is - Is the ZZR one the same as the GTR? 2nd, How much would it cost to have it resprayed to match?

they are the same, if you look at the after market carbon ones they say that they fit both bikes, maybe the fins on the edge of the fender exchange over

I have just had to replace my front "fender" with a factory new one, £175.61 all in, you have to swop the black fins either side (two Philips screws) and the brake pipe clips which are a pain to get out,mi got new ones for a couple of quid.

So you have to reckon on purchasing one from ebay plus paint, that's the decision.

Easy peasy to fit.

Yes, they are the same, trust me.

Why not get a carbon fiber one, that way you don't have to worry about paint matching...

Could be the most cost effective answer Miss Debs even if your not keen on the look when you are riding Baby2 you will not be able to see the mudguard

Debs

If you go the carbon route do not purchase it from Powerbronze on eBay, go direct to  there web site as its £30 cheaper.
