So there was poodling aorund the village this mornng when i stopped behind a black van so we could both allow the bin lorry through, so he decides to reverse back, no matter i was there, beeping my horn and trying like crazy to push backwards did no good, he got me and over i went. The tilt switch did its job, i got up and he had to pull forward a bit as my wheel was under his bumper, luckily there was a few guys around who saw it and helped me lift the bike up.
After a forensic inspection the only broken bit is the front mudguard, the R&G bars have a scratch but did the job superb, not even the handlebar is toucuhed, ok a small (very small) scratch on the mirror as well, i reckon i got away with it well.
He lives in our village, and his brother in law in my road, about three houses up, got pics, details, he reckons he will simply pay for the mudguard which suits me fine, i can fit it easy enough.
So do i get a new black replacement, or one of those nice PowerBronze Carbon Fibre ones which are cheaper?
Alan
Personal choice that one!
I like original and grossly dislike carbon fibre anything!
Glad you're ok Alan..
Re the mudguard.. I would stick to the original colour

Didn't know you went to that sort of club.... :whistling:
:mfr_lol: Glad to see that this forum has a bunch of crazies like ours. Makes me feel at home, it does.
I was thinking exactly the same as you Whinny  , but never mind that ... glad to hear you are unhurt BA .... get a nice shiny one.
New shiny one on order, been around to the guys house in the village and he could not be more sorry, £175.61 for the front fender, keep the bits from the side as they need to be bolted back on.
Gone for the standard one rather than a power bronze one.
Alan
Had this happen to me once glad I have air horns. Glad it weren't more serious
The main thing is that you are okay Al
