Screen off.... Left hand upper cover off... Accessory wires inside the rubber boot. Easy Peasy.  :mfr_lol:

OR bring it to Bournemouth and I will do it for free...  :mfr_lol:

Or take the black side infill panel off  and connect into the aux leads you will need to take centre cover off the tank also.

you could use a scotch block/pozi tap connected to your side light bulb feed , you can get to this from under the headlight part of the fairing

You don't have to take the centre cover off the tank on the 2010+ models to get the side infill panel off.

I don't..  :mfr_lol:

This guy is doing an Air Filter change but he shows how to take the top infill off.. I suggest removing the screen although this guy don't.

Start at 5:25 to 15:12.

There is an allen bolt in the bottom of the box that needs to be removed which he don't mention.

all wired in & up & running,i ordered another mount for my xjr1300,so i can use the garmin 660 on both bike's,i used a short arm ram mount fitted to the clutch lever bracket on the handlebars.it's open to the element's on the xjr,at least on the GTR it's more protected, are these shower proof or actually waterproof,i.e. if it poured down will it harm it.

The BMW version of the Garmin 660 (Navigator 1V is certainly fully waterproof and advertised as such - not sure about the 660 itself?

To the best of my knowledge and from personal experience the Zumo 660 is absolutely 100% perfectly waterproof.

The Garmin 660 is a motorcycle specific device and as such is waterproof....mine has covered many thousands of miles in all weathers on several bikes and has never suffered from water ingress despite being thoroughly soaked on more than one occasion

On my current Super Tenere
