Being nosey. I see OC has got rid of his Versys and I wonder why. And what is the new XTZ like. I quite fancy one of those
I was with Rog a couple of weeks ago and he fancied a change, what he has does indeed look the dogs danglies and he rides it extremely well.
He will be here soon after he gets off it to confirm what I have said as he Geoff and others seem to be out on bikes every day.

Which model as he got? I like the Tenere
I see that I've been rumbled :mfr_lol:
I changed my Versys about 5 weeks ago now (My forum profile was updated at the time) The big Versys is a r
Truly brilliant bike and I liked it, but I had an itch for a true Adventure twin and having already experienced a GS I wanted something different and much more exclusive, so I tested the Super Tenere (S10) twice and was blown away by its outstanding quality andproven track record of reliability. Its a big (1200) cc twin so not to everyones taste but I love it and it looks the absolute dogs bollox...well I think so.
I bought the 2014 ZE model with full electric suspension cruise main stand heated grips bash plate aux lights crash bars etc etc.
I've covered 2150 miles on it since purchase and it does NOT fail to please every time. :punk:
Try one....you might just be surprised
So it's only a matter of time now before Geoff follows suit.

Nah I love the big V and will be keeping it until Kawasaki bring the updated version out,( hopefully with improved front suspension) in 015 ?. Then I may just consider a change. If there is no new upgraded model coming, I may buy a new one of the model that I already have. Then have the suspension re-worked by Maxton.
And now I know. Sounds good O c.
Crap picture....I must get some better ones ....but for your info

Lovely colour. Looks great.
Reminds me of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia..
Fantastic bike Roger. I'd be tempted if I didn't have the GTR

What it is, when you are a multi millionare like Rog, with apartments dotted all over the world, a garage full of Rolls royce, and other exotic cars.
Plus a shed full to the rafters with the best bikes that money can buy.
And money is just no object You can please yourself what you spent your money on.
Wise words from him up in Leyburn. :mfr_lol:

Apart from the recall to resolve the headlamp harness overheating on the previous model of course (not to mention the rusting spokes but we won't mention those!).
We're on our second (also a ZE) and they're great bikes (not as good as our GSA IMO but we're going to have to disagree on that). Don't get too carried away with the stock tyres though as they're not great in the mud as this short blog post (http://www.thewellers.net/blog/motorcycling/hello-my-name-is-kevin-and-im-an-idiot) will testify; it was completely stuck. I think I've now got
most of the mud off...

I used to think that the three GTRs I have owned were what I needed Steve, but as time passes requirements change and so did my biking needs, its amazing what is available out there when you try it  :mfr_lol:

The standard tyres are probably only any goodfor relatively light off road use, my days of off roading are now alas no longer a possibility :surrender:
GS or S10 well its all about personal preference and I fully respect your opinion Kevin  I couldn't get on with the GS that I owned.
I wonder though how far down the narrow mud track your GS would have got with its 'boxer' engine :mfr_lol:

[nods] Fair point, well made. I don't think it would have been the gear lever I had a problem with!
