I'm looking into getting a garmin 660 for the gtr,i have a cheap one for my car,i would like one for my bike, silly question, apart from the sat nav, what else do I require.
Mounting kit and deciding where to mount it will help :) probable cost £100 all in :(

Glad you are going to get a Garmin ... As Zebs has said a mount and wiring for the bike will be around £100 but so so worth it .... Just get out into Hants or Surrey from where you are and when you're lost or want to go home just push a few buttons and away you go ! Beautiful !
when they say a mounting kit, you do get a generic mounting kit included that fits to handlebars, a bit difficult to use on the gtr , but if you get the ram ball mount that goes in your centre yolk then everything else is included
I have the Garmin 600 (same as 660 but includes radio).
Kawasaki use to do a satnav mount for the 2007-2010 models, that fits the 2010 to current, (and I think the ZZR), which is what I have. (but I can't find it).
The only thing I would say is - do not leave the satnav on the bike when you wash it! even though its perfectly waterproof and I have had no issues with the electronics, the screen has an anti glare coating which washes off over time.

Try this mount...... official OEM part...
But could only find it by part number...
