I'm not a fan of extra brighter LEDs on bikes, but the neat jobs done in the recent topic on Cree LED's http://www.gtr1400.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=4255.0 made me think about my desire to add indicators to the mirrors (just like my old 1300 Pans and Blackbird had).
The positioning of the inicators on the GTR and many similar bikes (BMW K16 etc.) is not ideal with the indicator lights easily hidden to another vehicle by the body/forks of the bike.
Has anyone done this mod? I've searched everywhere and all I can find is repeater lights in the mirror itself(for the benefit of rider and possibly someone behind). I was thinking of getting one of the curved mirror indicators sold on ebay, but have no idea if they are any good, or if there's something better out there.

You will find a lot of pics how he did it, language is dutch however...
He have put the indicator lights where I have put my white ones cfr the link you mention + even in the mirror sides
