Title: Fairing compartment.
Post by: GTRpilot on June 15, 2014, 04:35:38 PM
Just noticed the small compartment on top of left fairing is loose. Appears to be two securing screws missing from corners? Also has a power lead going up into it but nothing inside the storage area. What is the lead for?

Must've been a mod by previous owner. Maybe it was used to charge a mobile phone while they were away from bike??

No socket inside.

The compartment has 2 plastic push rivets in the corners and not screws. The lead must have been put in by the previous owner as no leads would be in it otherwise.

the lead that goes to it will be for the magnetic lock to release , if its not an accessory wire from the prev owner
