Title: 11.250 service done
Post by: tapps on June 14, 2014, 12:10:52 PM
I had the 11.250 service done on Friday,a new pair of Michelin pilot 4 gt's fitted, happy day's.the OEM fitted tyres done-- 3.600 mile's.the michelin pilot road 3's-- 7.705 mile's,in all being honest they had a few more mile's life left in them.i told them the front T.P.S low voltage warning has flashed up a few time's & it needs to be replaced, they knew when it was booked in a couple of weeks prior to the service the tps was in need of being replaced.when I collected the bike I was told the tps was on order under warranty & they'll call me when it was in.wouldn't it have made sense to have pre ordered it prior to the service, while the wheels/tyres were off to have fitted it then.

Yes it would have made perfect sense! Main dealers tend to get common parts from Kawasaki on a next day delivery or at least that's what I've found.
