Hello , im new here :laugh:
I search the forum , but i have not really found a solution for my problem.
I bought a tankbag on eBay for my GTR 1400 -09 , and i asked the seller if it will fit my bike , offcourse he said "yes" :hammer: :2guns:
But when i tried to mount i realised that the stupid glovebox is in the way :angry:
But i have seen that there is some guys here that have fixed it , but i wonder how... Any ideas ?

With some you can add spacers to the bag which will raise it over the glove box, but with the make you have you can't. I have the same bag but I have the later model.
You could try spacers and see if it works
Givi lock is a ring so think its hard to use a spacer. I take the glovebox off when using the tankbag. But im looking for a better solution.
I put spacers under the ring to lit it over a tank cover when I had one

Honestly im not so sure. There is not much suport under the plastic ring. I think ypu need a angeled spaser to suport the plastic ring.

When i ordered my bag from eBay the seller (or maybe Givi) missed to put the plastic ring in the bag , so i told the seller that i want the
plastic ring , but he didnt understand what i ment so he send me another mounting kit instead :hammer:
So i have mount the plastic ring between two rings made of steel , so thats really ridgid.

Ah, i could only see the normal top steel ring in the picture.
