Got a motor officer in the US looking for options...
Thanks,
Jim
Not aware that the Police here use GTR's, nor have I heard of anywhere that sells narrower cases, I know you can get them for BMW's but never seen them for kwackers.
Try Corbin they make em

When the PSNI tested the GTR they used standard size panniers

Strathclyde Police use the Kawasaki GTR1400, and they seem to have a narrow pannier lid.
Maybe one of the :police: on here can find out from them where they got them from..

Is that an Inspector who's gone out to play on the beast? :whistling:
It looks like he's reading "FI ERROR" on the dash... :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
Or low fuel, TPMS battery low....
I would be interested in finding out where those cases were sourced if anyone has the time to find out... Bryn was a motor officer wasn't he?
I just rang Kawasaki UK, I'm awaiting an e-mail reply i.e. if they want to make these lids available to public.
Good Afternoon Andy
Thank you for your earlier telephone call. Unfortunately Kawasaki Motors UK doesn't offer the Narrow Style pannier option for the 1400GTR, as this is something we only get involved in to fulfil specific Police motorcycle specification.
We do however use a company called Woodway Engineering Ltd, based near Coventry to convert the standard panniers. I'm not sure if they will be prepared to offer this service to the general public, but you should be able to find their details on the internet, so you can but ask...
I hope this information helps.
Kind regards
