I'm not sure if this has already been reported here, but MG has passed away. I noticed a post on Facebook from 26th May.
He was always coming up with a new gadget of some sort and had some great ideas.

RIP MGV - I hope it was peaceful. So many great variations and tweaks he will not be soon forgotten.

wow , that's sad news . Have you link for the facebook page? I wonder what actually happened as I can still see the image of him riding along with that bolt on his cruise control seating back on the seat with no hands! I hope it wasn't bike related
I'm shocked to hear this, he was an eccentric gent with some of his inventions. I can only hope that this report is wrong and that someone has made a mistake. :sad:

Never had the chance to meet him but have seen him in passing. I should have sent him a message and offered to meet for a ride, something I will regret not doing, he seemed quite the character.
What a shock as he wasn't that old.... :cry: He'll be missed by many.

Hopefully they will take a little comfort knowing that he touched the lives of bikers around the globe. A true pioneer mad cap inventor!

Well, he's gotten pissed and pulled his videos a time or two but I think this is for real. If not, and he's pulling our legs...I'd still give him a big hug.
only just noticed this :sad: seemed like a really nice guy who liked modding his bike :smiley: I often remarked on his excellent inventions, such as the full stand mod and how he never needed to get of the bike to put on the full stand :smiley: and of course.. that home made cruise control :clap: Condoleances to his family and friends.. he will be sadly missed on here :yes:
