I am getting a bit confused with various PM's hitting me from all directions so thought I would start a thread for us members in the east who are going to the Belfry .
The names as I can make out are. Myself, Charlie747, Ant, Stephen, Tugg, Zebedee, Stoketim. Flatfour is riding down on the Thursday, and we may be meeting Boomer. Have I missed anyone?
Zebedee may be with us for a morning kick off, he may have to wait for his pillion [Florence?] to finish work.
Ant, did you have a route planned?
Florence (Nikki) lol you better not call her that if she can make it. Above is correct on my part mate

No route planned as yet and haven't thought about it, its all going to be down ( missed out ' to ' ) the weather conditions on the day.....
Raining - nail it down there.
Dry - scenic route.
Agreed everyone ?
Yup :)

Yep, except Major roadworks on A.14 at Kettering, narrow lanes etc. pretty slow all day.
Group ride over sounds good. If it's raining straight there, if not then I'm up for the scenic route. Any suggestions... Oxford might be a nice nice place to stop and visit on the way. Or just hit 'avoid motorways' on the Sat Nav and see where it takes us.
Over the weekend there's a few places I would like to visit (between the beer and the pies):
Lacock Abbey, Gloucester Cathedral and Oxford's Christ Church, New College and Bodlean Library.
I'm in depending what route you take. I'll go as far north as Huntingdon or maybe even Peterborough if there is a bacon sarnie waiting for me there. :-)

:agree: (This icon is posted for my little mate Ant :mfr_lol: )
Sounds like a plan
If we meet at Wheels Bacon munchies dept. above the Honda Showroom at a time to be decided
Your thoughts on the following suggestions
wet route
Kettering via A47 & A43 (so missing roadwork's on A14)
At Kettering take A14 then M6 then M42 then M5 then M50 then follow signs for Mitcheldean and then Littledean
Dry route
Oundle Northampton Brackley Ayno across Cotswolds to Cheltenham then Gloucester follow signs for Chepstow at Littledean sign turn right follow road for a couple of miles and you're there.
Nice little Bimble but I do like Stephen's idea of let sat nav work it out after banning it from motorways :mfr_lol:
Sent from my room @ The Belfry

You'd be better off A14-M6 then get on the A46 at Coventry and follow it all the way down to the M5.....using the M42 is well out of the way :smartass:
:smartass:................ :mfr_lol:
Well I will go where ever sat nag says,........... getting lost :surrender:........, it just adds to the fun and makes memories :mfr_lol:
