Has any body tried one of these. Was thinking that it could be handy for long journeys where you could rest the heal of your thumb to stop the throttle going back , I do get wrist arch from holding the throttle in one position for long periods , :biker3:
I have one of these fitted.. I can operate it very easily with my little finger and palm..

ive tried various types of throttle locks over the years and found them all to be effective but frustrating. I had the plastic £5 thing that you rest your palm on, I consider this to be a bit dangerous as a number of times I caught it and made the bike rev wildly. The friction locks like the throttlemeister are safer but if you use it on anything other than a flat road the difference in speed up and down gradients will have you continualy adjusting it, even a small downhill gradient can add 20mph .
The only answer is a fully integrated car type like the audiovox cc, cost around £150 and takes a day or so to fit.
Ive had the same audiovox on three bikes over the last 12 years and couldn't be without it.
I'vegot one of thee, works fine :-)
