Title: Sat ride
Post by: nightrider on April 21, 2014, 12:11:56 AM
Had a ride up to hartside cafe on sat ,then onto devils bridge where I bumped into zedmeister and his wife , stopped at hawes for a drink and then back to selby in all about 290m in glorious sunshine , traffic was  very light on the way back from hawes and with my mate on his honda 1200 cross tourer we was on a fast pace , the gtr with the two brothers pipe on sounds fantastic I used the gears quite a bit and. The popping and snarling on the overrun sounds great , in all had a great day in a fantastic part of the country ,  :biker3:

Good to meet you Nightrider, the TB exhaust does sound well, especially on the overrun, i love mine. We had a few days in the lakes over the holidays and the weather was awesome, thanks for the advise on Hardknot, plenty of dickhead drivers there, and had to laugh at the different colours on some walls ( car paint i believe lol ). Met a great couple who were touring with a Ural Sidecar outfit. Also met a guy with a red GTR from Stoke on trent, at a filling station at Ambleside i told him about the site, as he was not aware of it.

Wish they did a system for our GTR's

I remember the Akrapovic rep turning up at the shop and he told us the price.................0nce we had picked ourselves off the floor....................He then told us the retail price

The first order we placed was for a full ZX12 system.......................when it arrived the box was so light we thought bits were missing...................then we looked at the quality of the welding WQW so good it was sexy..............................our end user collected and fitted that night turning up for coffee mid morning the following day...........................The first system he'd fitted without the use of a broom handle hammer and 5 mates........................................Akrapovic worth every penny.
