hi folks can someone please tell me where to find the colour code on my bike its a 2009 and its a silvery grey metallic .
one of my panniers has a slight scuff mark ,its only small but must get round to getting it painted.
I don't think bikes have the colour codes dsplayed on the actual bike like cars do , however it is possible to get the codes. Most motorcycle paint is purchased from one of the main bike paint suppliers like colour tone or Rs paints. If you can get the actual name of the colour, like nimbus grey or moondust silver ect , then those suppliers will supply the exact colour, you can buy 250ml tin or they will make an spray can for you for about £20.
As I remember the paint code was in the front of my service manual .... That was an 11 plate.
I have a 2007 so it may be this colour BUT please be certain
Paint code gtr 1400 swinging arm ---phantom silver kawasaki 458
Plastics Neutron silver 17N

The 2007 & 2009 are different colours. One is darker.
