For some of us, ( NB look away now ) cleaning the bike is as nearly as much fun as riding it ... keeping cool in the shade of the garage this morning imagine my horror when the last of the Auto Glym was squirted out on to the cloth ... OMG ... cold sweat and dizziness followed ... into the kitchen to retrieve the only other polish in the house ... Tesco furniture beeswax in spray form ..... " Give it a go " I thought .. hey, EASY. The GTR has come up very well, so all I want now is for it to pour with rain and watch the water bead off !
ACF 50'd the metal bits etc and all is looking good.
So then chaps ..... do we use Auto Glym .... or perhaps a bit of Halfords own stuff or that shite off the top shelf in the local garage that you think is just as good ? Perhaps it is ... let us know !
Me ? I'm off to get some more Auto Glym.
I have to admit I do have a lot of faith in the Auto Glym products.
I do tend to use Autoglym - Extra Gloss Protection for the paint work as it's easy to use and produces a nice gloss finish.
I have started to recently use a Back to Black for the black bits but can't remember who's
Steven
Auto glym here too ;D
Auto Glym for me too!
Wash and shampoo, then the polish, then super resin, finished off with their showroom polish

Sorry - I meant to mention the bike.............. :-[ :-[
Come on Guys...Pledge..where have you all been. It's been long time fact that its one of the best Bike Polishers you can get. Does grate Job non only on Faring Mud guards etc..all plastic & Muffler.
Works treat. Auto Glyn stuff , very pricey .....Sure Tesco home Brand & other own brands just as good too.
I just shove ACF50 everywhere
Good wash first then blow off the water traps with an air gun,dry off, polish, job done
Just a point about back to black its ok but does not last and goes everywhere, try ( no comments here guys ) baby oil on a cloth on your naked plastics it brings them up a treat, not too much just enough to enhance the plastics you will be impressed.

Does that not attract the dust & make it stick to it? Old engine oil quite good for lower parts..... :o

I'm guessing 12 or 112..both would mean trouble for me....Now wheres the Baby oil.......
Off down to Garage to clean me bike with it....honest ! Though Im not sure the Woman in Local Co-op thought that's what I was going to do with it, when I tried to explain what I was going to do with it...
"Clean your Bike ! Yes Sir..I am sure you are ! Of course" , by that time theirs a Que behind you listening too....!
