Had a good laugh over that. I was a fireman in a past life but I wasn't that stupid. I'm sure the train will go right over top and not cut the hose line...idiots. We have no shortage of them over here either.
I am guessing/hoping that this was a wind up on the new recruit/probationer/sprog/spoon or whatever they are allowed to be called in these PC times.
It would be quite easy to convince one of them that the hose ramps 'needed' placing as protection, then take a picture that may only appear at his retirement do many years later.
