I posted some pictures of the gtr on here by using my ipad , but they seem to have come up in big size ,how do you take them on the ipad and post so they can be viewed at normal size ,,,
if you don't have software that resizes you will need to upload to something like photobucket and copy and paste the Url. Personally if people post tiny pictures on here that need a download or massive ones I just don't bother looking. The 600 wide pixels are the best. I have my digital camera set to 800 x 600 so when I post they are the correct size to start with
Theres a guide here: http://www.gtr1400.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=1756.0
Yes I looked at the guide but I do not think it works with an ipad , but have managed to crop the photo down so will post one as a tester ,
Tester pics
That's better
That looks just fine. I known Rusty had 'problems' last year in Scotland taking pictures with his Ipad when he came to post them on the forum. Digital cameras, they're the future, you cant go wrong with them. :mfr_lol:
that is better than the massive size, however id aim to get the pics to a size that's right for the forum such as 600 pixels, its so much better being able to scroll through the post rather than having to "open " and confirm every single picture, as I said I just cant be bothered to do that, but hey that's just me
It just seems to be that Apple make everything awkward so you have to buy into their products.
Steve ... :mfr_lol: I always have problems with anything technical but you are right ... despite my love of Apple stuff they do make it hard for you when one wants to do anything "unApple" ... a small Canon Ixus is in order for this years trip.
Upload full sized picture to Flickr etc. then copy url of the various sizes on offer https://www.flickr.com/tools/mac_howto.gne

I don't understand what you mean.. I use a Macbook Pro and I am able to resize the pics quite easy without having to buy an extra product.
Preview/Tools/Adjust Size. I always adjust width to 864 Pixels
Simples
Debs you have to remember that Winston is knocking on a bit and Rusty....well he's just Rusty.
