I think I'm getting old. I've got a bird feeder in the garden and enjoy seeing the different varieties of birds.

The  :censored: Grey Squirrels though take the piss. Always after the bird food.

Hahaha - that's what our squirrels do!

Unfortunately they aren't native and are decimating the native Red Squirrel population.

I did think about catching them and releasing them in the wild, miles away from home. But apparently if you catch them, you can't release them back into the wild. You have to humanely kill them. Apparently a shot gun to the head, or shove them in a sack and club them to death.

I didn't fancy doing either of those so left the little buggers to enjoy feeding off all the bird food.

I'd Pay good money to see anyone catch a squirrel with their bare hands.

if you like squirrels you might like this,

walked into the family room and saw the squirrel stealing our rabbits food, the rabbit is a house bunny and we had left the door open. I set the camera up and put some more food down and waited

I really don't like squirrels and would take a 410 to them if I lived out in the country or not in a subdivision with rules on terminating wildlife with extreme prejudice.  I have used rat traps to 'scare' them.  That works.  They don't come in my garage or on my deck anymore.  They do on occasion give me a bad look once in awhile.  No squirrels have been harmed (permanently) by any of my actions to date.
