Title: Electrical question?
Post by: viper on March 16, 2014, 05:49:00 PM
Ive got a short on one of my circuits , the 5a accessory one, its looking like im going to have to pull the harness apart to find it but before I do im just trying to work out what else is on that circuit.

The fused circuit provides power for the cig lighter on dash, does it supply anything else??

is the 2 access wires under the seat on the same circuit, which for some reason i cant find?

in the fuse holder what circuit is labled OCV, next to the accessory one.?

many thanks

Viper, certainly the cig lighter is fed from the same supply as the front accessory leads.

Yes Viper the same ones. The rear accessory leads are located in a boot at the rear of the seat. You have to remove the tool box and the rear relay to get to it.

Its not that hard to find, small hands help tho, i found mine and ran a lead to a 2 way adaptor to run my Autocom and Radio form, works a treat, i removed the tools and leave them in the garage, took out those stupid security bolts holding the toolbox in and replaced them with stainless steel ones, sat the autocom in the toolbox, fits spot on, radio in the top box.

A few swear words often helps i find.
