Decided to put my Remus back on. Where the pipe joins the main header pipe, should I be putting a gasket on the joint?
Asif, I don't think they need one, is it blowing?
No Steve ... It's probably rotted away !

There is one on my Beuwolf. I used the original one by gently easing it out, then i purchased a new one for when i put the original back on as it wont do two moves for sure.

Don't use a gasket with my Remus & there are no leaks.
Ditto the above for my hexy titanium pipe - youd have difficulty getting the gasket between the down pipe and the exhaust pipe. dont forget HT grease on the SS clamp bolt.

Hi Asif, I had to take my gasket off so the new link pipe would fit on. No leaks after the install mate
I just couldn't remember what I did on the old bike. I do remember taking the old gasket off.
Will put it on this weekend :)
Just finished putting the Remus back on. As soon as I turned the bike on, the sweet growl was music to my ears.
The bike now has soul
You certainly know how to gel with your new neighbours. :mfr_lol:
Did you need to use any form of gasket?
Nope was a tight fit anyway. Had to use the heat gun and wd40 for it to slip on
