Hi folks
Done 100 or so miles on my 2010 GTR since I bought it. I have noticed a very quiet rattling metallic sound coming from the front (I think) when I'm travelling. I can hear it particularly when accelerating but not so much when cruising. It is very quiet, almost in-audible. The best way I can describe the sound is its like a loose washer rattling on a bolt.
Anyone else had this minor problem, or any ideas as to what it could be? I'm fairly certain its coming somewhere from the front half of the bike but cannot be sure. I've had a good like around the bike but cannot see anything suspect - but then again I don't know what I'm looking for.
Cheers in advance!
Possibly an exhaust header blowing. Try tightening up the headers ½ a turn
Oooo didn't think of that. Good idea though. Will investigate tomorrow.
Any further suggestions from anyone please keep adding to the list!

:agree: its a fiddly job but is likely to be the cause of your noise
Just thinking ....if you have a radiator guard, check that its correctly fitted /positioned too
My 2010 does the same, I only hear it when accelerating and I am convinced it is in the intake tract or airbox somewhere. I am half convinced that it is designed in like that, Kawasaki do like to give their bikes a bit of intake noise.
I have ignored it for 30k miles, and it has got no worse.
Martin.
