Title: Newbie!
Post by: T-bone on February 16, 2014, 05:25:05 PM
Hi all, finally joined forum after watching it for quite a while, finding it quite informative. Got my GTR back in October, not had much riding time as weather started to get bad (not saying I'm a fair weather biker) but finding it very comfortable from my last bike! I have a magnesium grey 2011 model, which seems to have taken over from black as the fastest.
Looking forward to getting out a lot more soon and enjoying the GTR.
The GTR has a custom seat, large screen and bar raisers, also looking to change the rocket launcher (exhaust) but can't decide which one yet. I'm in the Peterborough area so looking forward to some great rides out!! :)

Hi nice colour :-) I've just been for a short trip into Wales this afternoon and spent a quick half hour cleaning it when I got back...plenty of choise for exhaust cans, I've got an american Vance & Hines but many people seem to have Halifax's finest (Beowolf). See if you can come down for our meet in June. Lat time I was in Peat bog horror was on way to cadwell for a track day on GSX-R :-)

Hi Andy, sounds like you had a good ride out.  Vance & Hines seems a good choice, I take it that its a very throaty sound, not too loud.  The trip in June sounds great, but unfortunately at the moment, it doesn't look as if I can make those dates.

Hiya T-bone,

I am only new here myself, but welcome anyway...

I have a Two Brothers can on my beloved 07 GTR. Looking round, there doesn't seem to be many who have them, but i might be wrong.

I think it looks and sounds great though..

Hi, Thanks to your response regarding exhausts but went window shopping with charlie747 and of course a good ride out, shame about the wet weather on the way back, but have been looking at the scorpion exhausts. (the one with the red tip)
Sounds great, so it could be the one!
