Anyone want to meet up at Wheels Motorcycles tomorrow (Sunday 16-2-14) for a coffee.
Im going to be there from around 12 with Charlie747, would be nice to put some faces to names.

Ant, I'll try to get there, perhaps I will also be able to see the engine and rear bars on your GTR then? Could you take a couple of Forum Stickers with you, so that I can buy them if it works out.
My only reservation is that we lost the electricity supply for most of today, power lines down just a couple of hundred yards away. Whilst we now have power again, further disruption is expected when more permanant repairs are made and my wife cannot manage the woodburner on her own, so if it's tomorrow that they continue work I will need to stay in.

Yeah no problem.....
At least the worst of the wind has died down now here, until the next storm !! Keep that burner going, and there will be plenty of wood available for next year if these winds keep up :whistling:

Yes, an excellent days ride, chilly in places but refreshing with it. Great to meet a few of the gang today and I'll see you all at the Belfry in July if not before.

Well done you chaps ... I had a family commitment today and so was unable to make it .... as we drove up to St Albans on dry roads with the sun shining I was hoping it would be the same for the meet, and I am glad it clearly was ! There were quite a few bikes out and about, no doubt the first outing of the year for many :yes:
Nice to see that breakfast/lunch hasn't changed much ... can't beat it ! .. and Steve .. good effort with the fried breakfast AND chips :clap: :clap:

Please imagine the scene ..............a table in a bespoke restaurant (think Clint in a spaghetti western bar) the 4 dust covered road warriors sit in silence brought about by mass mastication.................The quite deep thinking one (think Lee Van Clef ) that'll be Flatfour manhandling what appears to be a kilo of cheese burger into a waiting orifice. The Mexican Baddy (always played by a well tanned man with a head full of dark wavy hair and moustache) that'll be Ant then was looking with trepidation at his plate overflowing with his order for "The Full Nine Inches" knowing that in this company he had to swallow. Mexican Muscle is always at the side of Mexican Baddy (In the movies played by a Cart Horse of a man who defines the definition of moron) think more My Little Pony and that would be Charlie747 who was still trying to work out who, why, were, he was and if those were real magic mushrooms on his bacon bun like the boys had lead him to believe. Mean while the ice cold babe magnet (Clint) that'll be The Wolf then had narrowed his eyes as he scanned the table top.............his dark pupils only just visible in the slits behind his varifocals, the pupils darted left and right in desperation looking for at least 1 x 700g bottle of Heinz57 ketchup rather than the mean 3 x 5g sachet of OTHER brand sauce neatly standing in a customer friendly pot. He knew that without that daily 700g Heniz57 fix he was going to do cold turkey..............and he had had a belly full of that last Xmas.........

Yep its nice, new, clean, well priced and they bring your order to the table, has a graphic design on the walls and a wall projector TV screen playing the winter Olympics when we called................Oh yes its got a Honda showroom down stairs................but no gift shop......................only a Boys :scooter: Toys Dept.
But it sounds as if Mr Ant & Mr Charlie747 will be arranging more tea and troughing trips as you can see from the pictures my little buddy looks under nourished hence his need for at least 2 x 9" on his next visit. Apparently I'm only allowed to lick his plate clean after he's finished as a form of weight reduction plan :whistling:

T-Bone and I checked out Wheels again this afternoon only to find that the café with the Honda showroom beneath does short hours during the week :oops:
:yes: A play day was good as it was nice to ride out on 2 consecutive days :scooter:
