Just been having a think about where to have a wander out on the bike, and was wondering if it was worth having a sticky in the ride outs section for places, cafes, or roads that were worth a visit, along with its postcode if possible. There may be some hidden gems out there that others have not heard of, especially if you live hundreds of miles from that area but are on a tour nearby. It could have sub sections in it for location ie England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, then south, midlands, or north. Then there could also be another for Europe, and the rest of the World if required. What do you think?
 :agree:

Sounds good to me too .. there must be plenty of "greasy spoons" out there that we know of .. I have a few on my Sat Nav taken from the Gs site .... locations and coordinates etc .. all over the place. Nice idea to spread the word ! :agree:
...and don't forget specialist coffee houses for Viper :whistling:

Sounds like a very good idea indeed, I've made a note and it's on my list of tasks to look at on Tuesday when I'm off work.
If anyone else thinks it's a good idea please say so, the more support it has the more chance it has of being a success.
Its a very good idea.
I also have an idea.. How about a 'How To' including video clips showing how to do certain jobs, rather than having to go through lots of threads trying to find the answers.
There are loads on youtube, and it would be good if all the links were in one place.
No prizes for guessing why Hartside Top Cafe is soooo popular with bikers, apart from the view......great roads

Devils Bridge is also well known for bikers, where there's a good cafe (Van) for food and drinks

The Bridge jumping has now been made illegal due to several deaths by injury/drowning, you can see its extremely dangerous, what you cant see is that the rocks just under the surface are not totally visible :nono:

Greasy spoon Jesters Diner in Southtown, Great Yarmouth, offers the £15 meal for free to anyone who can finish it in under an hour.
Described as a 'heart attack on a plate', the 9lb Kidz Breakfast - named so because it weighs more than an average-sized newborn baby - was slammed by health campaigners for its size and high calorie content.
The jumbo meal - consisting of 12 bacon rashers, 12 sausages, six eggs, four slices of black pudding, four slices of bread and butter, four slices of toast, four slices of fried bread, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, saute potatoes and an EIGHT egg cheese and potato omelette - is the calorific equivalent of two Christmas dinners or 12 Big Macs.
