I want to get one of these Givi E95 metal luggage racks that go on the top of the Givi E55 Top Case... the Givi ones are around £50  seems a bit rich to me.
So, I was wondering if anyone had seen any cheaper versions around before I stump up the cash for the spendy Givi?

Also been thinking about adding some more lighting to my case... the Givi ones are only £40 but they're only brake lights so there's no running lights and no indicators.

Conversely, the Add More Lighting has all the bells and whistles but it's £115 and comes straight from the USA... I hate giving HM and her cohorts their pound of flesh.

So, I wondered if anyone here has added either of these lighting kits? What are your views? Did you get done by HM on the US Add More Lighting kit?
Hay buddy being a serious nube I can't help. But I was just wondering what conversion plate do you use ?

No problem. I use Phils 'Farkel' rack with the SW Motech attachment kit from Heroblobs (in the UK):

The Give lighting kit tends to make the lights flash. This is most likely because the box bounces a bit.
While at the COG National this year I noticed a number of bikes with eyelets bolted to the top of the panniers as tie down points. This seems a better option than a rack on the top box as it gives better weight distribution.
Stephen,
I have the Admore lighting kit on mine - thread here if you are interested - http://www.gtr1400.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=999.msg10598#msg10598
The install was very simple, and the kit is very nicely engineered. The indicators are useless here in the UK as they flash red (the same LEDs as the brake lights), rather than orange - so I did not bother wiring in those. The running lights are not hugely bright, they are OK at night but you certainly don't see them very much in daylight.
Overall, I would recommend them. They give extra visibility at night, just enough to make people think twice when they see them.
Martin.

Are you sure? They look amber in the above video and the one below, indeed all the video's I've seen of them.

Edit: just looked at your link. The kit you've used looks like a different one. I'm looking at the E55 kit, it's a newer case and presumably newer kit?
Thanks
The two of you are discussing different boxes, the Kawasaki one and a Givi one
