If im really really good santa may bring me a Gopro for xmas.
id like to find a good mounting position that does not view through the screen, im planning on having a 2inch tft monitor also installed.
What are my options, its looking like somewhere near the mirror mount. Not keen on footage from the on helmet position
??

.
- side of fairing. GP is controllable by the rider from the saddle.
.
Yeah, under the near side mirror is a good spot.

Yeah, under the near side mirror is a good spot.
what mount do i use and will i have to drill or leave a hole when i sell?
Just use one of the standard adhesive mounts, guarantee it won't fall off, just clean the area thoroughly first. I used auto glym intensive tar remover but anything solvent based will be fine. No need to drill anything.
is not above the mirror a more natural position?
I never tried it above the mirror however I felt having it below the mirror was more discreet and the footage is decent.

That's where I have mine - very stable shooting and can be powered from the accessories if you modify the GoPro housing.
(although I am impressed with MG's innovations)
