I popped out on the bike this afternoon and did a bit of off road riding to get where I needed to be for a photo opportunity, aren't leaves slippery! :sweatdrop:
Anyway, I'm just curious, which photo works better, this one......
(http://i1288.photobucket.com/albums/b497/Jaffa_Cake505/Various%20GTR%20Shots/DSC_4844_zpseda5e968.jpg) (http://s1288.photobucket.com/user/Jaffa_Cake505/media/Various%20GTR%20Shots/DSC_4844_zpseda5e968.jpg.html)
or this one which has been Photoshopped ever so slightly. They are both the same photo.
(http://i1288.photobucket.com/albums/b497/Jaffa_Cake505/Various%20GTR%20Shots/DSC_4844copy_zps97e83bd1.jpg) (http://s1288.photobucket.com/user/Jaffa_Cake505/media/Various%20GTR%20Shots/DSC_4844copy_zps97e83bd1.jpg.html)
The first photo is straight as it comes out of the camera and the second one has had the colour of the bike amended to make it more saturated and punchy and then the background has been ever so slightly diffused to provide a bit of depth of field and separate the foreground more from the background.
Its a no brainer for me Steve, the First picture is better ~ personally I'm not keen on the diffusion effect
A too.
I can't see that B did the bike any justice except make it slightly duller on closer inspection ...... So A for me
+1 for A
It's a brighter picture and that's what matters after a few pints.
A+++++++. Oh sorry, that's my ebay feedback.
Who here still thinks magnesium grey is a boring colour?
Nice pictures both!
Interesting, A it is then. I was glad when I got back on tarmac & out of the woods. Who says Bradford isn't that nice?

Disagree !!!, you can't tell the better woman just by looking at the horses arse ! :whistling:
I'm thinking A..
I'm thinking.............
I'd have the bike away from the gate and use selective focusing with wide aperture to blur the back ground. I'd also have thought about opening the gate if possible an having the track at the far edge of the shot.

Option C
Just ride the damn thing instead of admiring it

That's rich....tell you what, Wednesday, let's get out on the bikes and have a trip somewhere. Let me guess you're working? Would I be right?

Regrettably the gate couldn't be opened. Truth is I shouldn't even have been down the track as it's a private road. It was in and out ASAP.
Steve you need to airbrush out the rust on the front ABS ring, also on the rear caliper .... :mfr_lol:

yes you would be right. us private sector workers don't get time off like you public sector workers do
Steve, Both photos look the same to me. The front ABS sensor ring, and the rear brake caliper are an awful rusty disgrace. :nono:. Are you trying to make them the same colour as the rest of the bike?. :mfr_lol:
RUST, RUST, WHAT BLOODY RUST?
It's a touch of very light corrosion on the abs ring, that's all, that's what happens when you have a leaky, damp garage. (Fixed now). The rear brake calliper? Cant see anything wrong with that, you'll be saying the horse shoes are rusty next

I wondered if you might fancy a trip to Whitby or somewhere similar.
