Title: PR3 prices
Post by: BigAlan on September 28, 2013, 09:57:25 AM
Ok time to get some more tyres, anybody got a favourite place to mail order some to me and with a decent price attached?

Best I can see so far is £220

Thanks
Alan

That sounds about right, it starts getting expensive if like me you take the bike in and expect them to take the wheels off. I think they charge about £30 per wheel.

I can get the tyres changes free of charge easy enough so just looking for the cheapest place to get them.

The Storms on the Versys have already lasted longer than the PR3s (5000) did on the GTR and hardly a pimple worn of em yet.   For me there is simply no contest.

Can't really compare them like for like though Geoff.

Power delivery, weight, style of ride etc.

I did like Avon's on a Blackbird we had at work though.

Take your point, BUT I will bet the first GTR owner that fits the Storms, raves about them.
