Title: Short inseam on GTR
Post by: simo on September 17, 2013, 10:37:10 AM
I had a Honda st1300 for a few years. I am now looking at the GTR 1400. The seat height is higher than the St1300.

I had no trouble with the Honda but I am a little concerned with the GTR.

Has anyone with a short inseam had any experience with this bike?

John

Simo, 2kwacks on here is tiny and he got round the problem I believe by having a Kawasaki Gel seat but you could achieve the same result by just having the standard seat re sculptured.

I'm safe at the moment because Dave is out in Tenerife so can't smack me but I'm sure he will agree he is a small chappy!  :mfr_lol:

I have a 30" inseam if I'm being generous with myself, and no problems whatsoever

The Kawasaki Accessory GEL seat is also a little narrower ~ which helps those of smaller stature

28" inside leg...........................not flat footed on floor but no problems.

After a Pan the GTR should redefine your need for speed  :mfr_lol:

Thanks guys - sounds encouraging. I could not flat foot my st1300 and I managed ok. I was just a little concerned with this bike being a little taller.
