Title: Calsci Screen
Post by: stealth on September 07, 2013, 12:34:09 PM
@ Viper.. I know you mentioned having the Calsci XL Wide screen.. What is your thoughts on it ?
Bought one last night but not really tested it yet (although I'm gonna go home via the mototrway tonight).
all I know is, it's BLOODY BIG  :surrender:

Or anyone else with this screen. Any opinions on having it in it's full UP position whilst at speed (ie: on m/way etc) ?

I had the medium and large (which is now the large and xl since Calsci modified their product line)

I sold the large as it didn't make much difference when fully up. For me the old me the old medium works fine

ive got the calsi xl, not sure if its also the extra wide variant. to be honest I love what it does but not keen on the look, when its fully up the noise reduction is 90% in my opinion and combined with our c3 helmets we are in a very quiet bubble. so my compromise is that the screen memory is set at number 1 ( lowest ) . I then only raise the screen fully up when on the motorway. when is slower traffic I feel that I like to be able to see with out the screen obscuring my view.

Mines a keeper !

I have the extra wide version and keep mine set at position 2. It does a good job the only snag is that at full lock it catches my fingers. Not a prob when riding just when moving bike around.

I ended up sending it back.. Made the bike feel wrong when riding, like riding a pedal cycle with a bus screen strapped to it !! Getting a full refund for it though 😊
