Title: New Garage door
Post by: pembsgtr on April 05, 2011, 07:36:13 PM
Just fitted new handraulic roller door to my garage. All I have to do now is clear out the garage to get the bike in there.
Bought it from www.countrywidegaragedoors.com (http://www.countrywidegaragedoors.com) and fitted it myself.

Looks like the back lane could do with some tarmac. Where was that thread about towns being a dump ...  ;D

Good job on the door. Much better. Is it automatic?

Wont rust like the old one. I got one of them doors on the home Garage  in Somerset. The one down here on coast is starting to Rust, due to salt Air, Might replace it soon.

Norman....the door is manual at the moment, have only owned house since December have got a roll of armoured cable ready to get some electrics down the garden to the garage. The lane is unadopted the local council will not take it on, most of the neighbours not bothered about it either. Though the last few run outs I have had on the GTR some of the main roads are not in much better state.

Ziderman....it is a well built door and easy to fit, ten year warranty on the finish it looks to me as if it has some form of plastic coating on it.

It will give the local youths a new canvas to decorate the next time they are having a stella fest down the back lane.

Paint Graffiti of your own on it...least it will be your own work..while your at it , just as well piss on it too....

For sure it's got a plastic coating, mine has.
