I have sort of purchased Rusty's bike. Just need to send him the cash and get the bike shipped over. Minor details :mfr_lol:
Green is the new black and thus the fastest colour
Welcome back to the GTR!
At last it's out in the open and all the cloak and dagger stuff is a thing of the past. :mfr_lol:
Congratulations and looking forward to seeing if you can keep up with the magnesium breed of GTR's

Yes, and the tinkering will start soon
Won't be riding this bike as frequently though and will probably clean it a bit more often

How can you say Green is the fastest colour when you know damm well Black is best?
Well done for purchasing a GTR but be true to yourself and admin black is the quickest, and get it down to the Lower Lode Inn on the 2nd Sep for a chat.
Alan
Good news Asif. Non of those :censored:head attracting lamps rigged up to the front this time though. Especially on a select colour like that!

I quote from my intro thread
"1 Siverback................News on the street is that Green is the new Black............Check out ZG's :biker3:
2 olde coney...............Respect is due for your colour choice and even changing model rather than being taken to the Dark Side of The Force...............That pic of your forma love is understated quality my friend."
Our Leader has seen the Green Side of the Force
My Work here is Done.............................................. :hammer:
Ummmmm Now to work on Lonewolf :gunsmilie:
What ever the colour a GTR = Boy Toy Time Fun......................Enjoy your new ride my Leader.

Asif, just keep it standard. If you toughen up a bit you wont need cables for heated gloves, jackets, boxers etc.

You Bradfordians. Tight gits aren't ya?
I'm just reeling from the 'keep it clean' comment.
One rinse in it's lifetime will sort that one.... :whistling:
Nice one Asif - look forward to seeing you at Seaways!
(I'll be on the red one with two extra cylinders :single fuck: )

Welcome back Asif, look forward to seeing you up at the bridge sometime soon, On a nice clean bike :mfr_lol:
Yes let me join in here too !! :mfr_lol: well done Asif .... Nice to see you made the perfect choice both in bike and colour !! .... Although I,m not too sure how long it's going to stay clean for !!
The confidence will be back within a few miles and it will be smiles all round !
well it's about time Asif  I'm working on the 2nd September so can't make the lower lode  but if the next GTR meet is at the lower lode or somewhere else, then I'm up for that  providing the ZZR is welcome  if not.. then I'm not :whistling:  p.s I know you prefer black and also know there is a method in your madness  treat it the same and "HEY PRESTO" :mfr_lol:
Dave I thought you were definitely going on the 2nd, can't you get out of work?

Dave I thought you were definitely going on the 2nd, can't you get out of work?
well I did checked and there is already 2 off on 2nd  but if there's not much doing it's possible that I can take it as a days holiday, but won't know for defo till towards the end of the previous week.
P.s.. are you getting another bike? and if so what will it be! I'm :undecided: because you paid a interest in the b.m.w 1600 and the b.m.w 1200gs  I know the ZZR makes you :sweatdrop: but a good safe rider like yourself need not throw in the :surrender:  I would consider another GTR if they lunch a new model with a few upgrades  such as the 1441 engine, factory fitted cruise control, heated seat, 2nd glove box on the right side  and have tyre sensors where it's a simple case of unclipping the sensor so the "couple of quid" batteries can just be slotted in  then it would be worth changing the batteries every other tyre change  instead of paying £280.00 to the dealer for the sensor and labour to remove and fit the tyre and the reprogramming of the E.C.U or you could take the wheel to the dealer to remove the tyre then take the sensor home solder new batteries in place then return to the dealer to refit the sensor to the wheel and hope it works :sweatdrop: if not :hammer: pay the dealer again to remove the tyre and go back home to have another go  don't know what the Kawasaki boffins where thinking about when they designed them  ho.. I do.. to make the
dealers stealers... more money. sorry for the rant... but £280.00 for piece of mind that the sensor will work first time and for the sake of 2 batteries that cost £2.00 each "max" is bloody outrageous and a rip off and that's putting it mildly!!!
Dave, "Am I getting Another Bike"? "No" I'm more than happy with the GTR.
Now get that day booked off, you were on about going for a couple of days, just as well you didn't book any accommodation.

Flip, you obviously dont know Asif, cleaning bikes is an alien concept to him. Just watch it go down hill as the miles clock up :mfr_lol: :whistling:
I've promised Nigel I'll be keeping an eye on the GTR to see how clean he keeps it.
Well, I've had it one day and its still clean :whistling:
It wont last :mfr_lol: :whistling:
Dear Asif
Don't you let those boys and girls bully you into changing your priorities in life.........................................................................
Such as which pannier to put the halibut in ?................................
Will this wine go with that fish ?................................................
Should the wine be stored in the colour coordinated top box at legal motorway speeds?
I find a build up of good Lincolnshire road kill / :shit: / traffic film / sugar beet / sand and gravel helps me locate my machine in a car park.
Deters any vandalism / theft ..................... as every vandal is now aware of the bio hazard my bike represents. :gun_bandana:
Ensures I can see every bit of service work done...................... by counting the finger marks and then working out the £K / mark
My GTR wears its dirt as a badge of honour with pride as the true Road Warrior it is. :tank:
Hope this is enough sucking up O Mighty One?
:listencarefully:
Have to say that new ex Rusty machine of yours looks better than new in the pic's...............Get yourself down to Big Sky County on your Mean Green Machine.................I'm sure us boys in the east will give you a trip to remember.
Charlie :ninja:
Charlie, please dont encourage him. I just hope and pray, that rusty will never clap eyes on his old bike ever again, I f he does I fear floods      of tears.

Wow Asif ... That looks great .. You ARE a lucky man ... Get those panniers off and pop the top box on ... Only joking !!!!! :mfr_lol:
