Title: Motorcycle Sound System
Post by: SirToU on July 23, 2013, 10:23:35 PM
Something I found on ebay, that I thought might be of interest to some of you.

I know its not GTR, but I'm sure it could be adapted.

For those of you with an Autocom ....

I've just got myself one of these....

http://www.tesco.com/direct/technika-dab112-portable-dab-radio/208-6909.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=208-6909

connected to the Autocom, the headphone cable is the aerial..... now in the past I've tried a few and got mixed quality DAB reception... so this time I used a splitter, and put an extra aerial cable in around the front of the fairing  ( inside of course)

Radio sits in the top tank compartment.  28 mile journey to work and back, in a fairly built up journey no loss of DAB signal for the entire journey... so a  good result

( no extrernal speakers so no looking like  a div when parked at lights   )
