Having a memory lapse here, I have the 2011 bike and I have the fob which sits in my pocket all the time, inside the fob is a little key which has only been out to look at it, plus the big key which lives on the bike, that's it key wise, is this correct?
I ask because if for some no good old age reason I lose the fob the little key goes with it.
I'm going mad, I know it and so does everyone else.
Alan
Yep, that's it two keys. Just get a spare key cut.

Well, if I would agree with you.... :mfr_lol:
There are actually 3 keys. The big one, one in the fob and the spare key in the card that also functions as a spare fob. :smartass:
I didn't even know there was a further key in the card thingy. Took it with me to Scotland but haven't even got a clue how it works.

You know, that small black plastic card that came with the bike?
About 5 cm long, 2 cm wide and 3mm thick with a small key inside?
If you bought yours second hand and the previous owner didn't give it to you we may soon see your bike auctioned off as a bargain on fleabay too. :mfr_lol:

Ha!
After an exhaustive search of all the places I call "safe" I found the key in the plastic card, I even remember putting it in there for safe keeping when I purchased the bike brand new.
So, I have the big one in the middle I turn, the key fob with another key inside it, the newely found one, plus two I have had cut by a mate to save me taking the big one out to put petrol in.
Happy man now.
Alan
Well, and if you should loose the fob you not only have a spare key in that card, you can also use the card itself as an emergency fob to unlock the bike.

Only if you can find the key my friend ! :smartass: :mfr_lol:
Will the weight of all those spare extra peace of mind keys reduce the ground clearance thus allowing the growth of massive chicken rings on your rubber of choice? (Put that line in for Lonewolf)
Yours sincerely
