Took my GTR in for a service this morning,the courtesy bike was being mot'd whilst I was sat around waiting.when it was mot'd i was asked if I'd like to use it as my bike will still be a bit of time.i filled in the required form & signed it & off I went,just on the outskirts of Worthing a police car appeared behind me,he pulled into a lay by,then decided to follow me again,he then overtook me & signalled me to follow onto a side road.i wasn't speeding or doing any silly.he said I've been stopped for not having a valid MOT,it ran out last month.i explained its a courtesy bike & it was mot'd this morning,I then produced my driving licence & he went to do some check's.he asked of I had the dealers number,which i gave him,he made the call & all was ok.NICE TO SEE THE BOY'S IN BLUE DOING THERE JOB.i told him I have 2 motorbike's & a car,of which are all taxed,mot'd & insured.i said fair play for stopping me.
:yes: :agree: A happy ending then Tapps ? The ANPR on the car clearly picked up the " No Mot " .... Hope they were polite and courteous to you. I treat everyone the way I myself would wish to be treated and that always works ... Well 99% of the time !
Tapps, alternatively you could have dropped it a couple of gears and blasted towards the horizon. :popcorn:

I reckon he'd have still got away, are the Police in Worthing allowed to chase motorcycles, we are not.
Depends wether you "call it" or not ... Something's get missed in the heat of the moment ... You know ... Radios don't work, or someone else who likes the sound of their own voice is babbling away and by the time you get in its all over and he's come off ..... ACPO is very clear .... No pursuit of bikes ! ... Even in The Met !
