Up until 2 weeks ago that would have been a no brainer question Dave....I told you the Big V was good

And now I'm waiting for someone to tell me that the GTR would comfortably fulfill both rolls   :whistling:   :mfr_lol:

The GTR would comfortably fulfill both rolls

There... glad to help

Then again, with a history of being a serial bike buyer.. over 80 bikes since I was 17... I'm in the 'change is as good as a rest' camp   :cheesy:

[/quote].. over 80 bikes since I was 17... is that all  but it would depend on how old you are now :whistling: for example if you were say under 30 that would be a fair amount  if you were under 20 then you would need help :sweatdrop: if you were over 50 like me then you would just need a understanding wife :sweatdrop: at a rough guess counting the bikes in my head I can count 22 bikes since 1976 including the 2 I have now  but in my defence, I do get tend to get attached to them once I've found the bike for me
P.s you could start a post on how many bikes you've had with in the years you've been riding and if you could I've 2 of them back which would you have and why?..  well it's pissing down at the moment! and I'm bored  :shit: less :mfr_lol:  dam good idea thou

well Rog.. that's quite impressive  how about some pics of the beauties after all it is raining! wouldn't mind the KH 500 living with me  doubt if the mileage would stay the same thou  don't have all my bikes pictures  some I never bothered to take pics and some pics I've lost over the years   the pics I do have is of the bikes I got attached to and kept for many years before I decided that I could hardly move in my garage then decided 2 at one time would be more practical

well I do have a "dark side" and just after I returned from Oregon in the states after visiting my brother-in-law. and all his mates had cruisers, so borrowed one a for a few days and thought this is for me  I'm so use to flying here and there :whistling: and the cruiser was just a relaxed chill out ride  so thought I don't like Harleys  but I do like Kawasaki's so bought the vn1600  only sold it because my mates use to moan when I turned up on it  hence in the 12 months I had owned it, it only covered 900 miles  but it was a bloody dam nice bike to ride with plenty of low down grunt

First service and luggage fitment on Tuesday next week Dave, and yes, I'm in the process of transferring my cherished number over

The mono shock was a total special with ported 500 engine 34mm Mikuni carbs, sweet handling KH 400 frame, GSX front & rear end Ohlins front & rear and much much more, its was a quick bike that was stopped by the coppers at the TT for doing over 120mph (not with me riding tho')

Hey Graeme, some loverly bikes there

Its incredible that so many of us have, over the years, had bikes that can often be very different to each other, which probably reflects how we were at the time

love the gt380 how long have you had it? is that the 380 A 1976 model?

I've had it for about two years now albeit it's been in the local workshop for the past year whilst they sort out the carbs and timing issues. I've had the original tank and side panels put on it now and will keep the one in the picture for spare. It's a 1975 M model by the way. Lots of noise and a lovely blue haze...

Hey Graeme, some loverly bikes there

Its incredible that so many of us have, over the years, had bikes that can often be very different to each other, which probably reflects how we were at the time

I started on a 1976 GT25A in blue followed by a 1978 RD400D in maroon before t-boning a lorry and landing on the opposite carriageway on the A127 May 2000 at 8.54am. After 9 weeks in hospital and another 8 in a full body cast, my mum was a bit upset so I promised her I wouldn't ride again. Then in 2010, about to turn 50, second divorce, second house gone, I thought wtf and bought a bike! Now I'm riding one almost every day and loving it and the camaraderie of the biking community...
