Hi Guys,
I drilled out that 'spare' blanking cover (and the metal plate beneath) and fitted this. It gives me the two USB outlets I needed to run/charge my GoPro and to charge the phone.
Currently have it wired into the accessory wiring and touch wood all is well.
Thats a nice job and best place to wire it to... Well done Pete..

:punk: Nice job.
Looks like a plastic cover over the blanking plate.
Where are the USB ports?
Is there a separate voltage dropper/regulator.
And you can charge the GoPro whilst it is in it's case?
Hi Ros, Yep. I drilled a small hole in the case that aligns with the usb socket and normally plug it with a rubber grommet. But in fine weather I can remove and plug the usb lead in...
Nice mod. Where did you get the USB component from?

Obviously I didn't require the bar mount. It lights up when powered with a nice blue glow...
Hi Pete
Looks good..............Thanks for the link...............looks like my 1st mod job is on the cards
Cheers
Charlie
I like that, handy to know it exists. Would be fairly easy to piggy back off the other 12 volt socket for wiring.
