Well just sold my fantastic 955i Tigger after 6 years solid service with me.
I placed a classified on ebay and after a fortnight of idiot questions and moronic dealers offering me "top money" against a bike that I listed as wanting - the bike sold to the first viewer today.
I sort of knew the first serious viewing would buy but why do we have to put up with the dross and pond life beforehand?
Anyway, before deleting the ad next week I've edited it thanking those mentioned above for their interest.
So I'm down to 1 bike now and have plenty room in the garage - the GTR panniers can now remain "ON"
Aye thank you!
Pleased to hear about the pannier situation, :mfr_lol: how's the GTR doing, did you ever tell the story?
Hi LW - and I hope all is well with you.
It's a good one and worth telling I'm sure but how do I put down here how £4k damage could be caused to a 2010 GTR on 19/03/13 without me riding it, worse still not moving or running and on its centre stand and finally not being hit by anything?
Would anyone believe me? To all Ill say that our GTRs weigh as much as houses and demand equally as good foundations - don't be fooled - mine now sits on 4.5mm checker plate ally. If I didn't have pictures the insurance wouldn't have paid - truly.
Oh yes - like houses, don't park your GTR on the edge of a cliff. The harbour fall video was equal in severity to mine as that hit water and mine hit granite!
Even worse the first shop it was taken to takes 52 days to do nothing until I "extract" it and get it to Bournemouth Kawasaki who takes 15 days to fix - it just one day after the "big meet" in Torquay which no-one turned up to!
The good thing is of course it's back, better than when I bought it and I'm loving it ! Yet another reason to praise good service every time and that's why BK are so bloody good.
I'm surprised it didn't register on that bloody earthquake scale !
To all I say - take care !!
It almost brought a tear to my eye did that.....I said almost! :mfr_lol:
