First trip for the GTR over the channel....Thursday night ferry Portsmouth to Le Harvre... Then 3 nights in Carentan....
Last year it piddled down.. Hoping for better this time
Don't worry .... the weather will be fine.
You will have a blast....don't forget the pictures when you get back
We have some great luck... Lyn, my other half, had a Duodenal ulcer ( she didn't know was there) burst early hours Sunday morning....punching a hole through her intestine... so Sunday night emergency op. She's probably in hospital until the weekend... suppose we should be thankful it didn't happen on the ferry or when we were in France
So obviously the trip is now off.... visiting in about an hour
Sorry to hear about Lyn hopes she's ok
Colin

Just got back from visiting... out of bed and now allowed to drink a little water for the first time since Sunday...
Bryn,
I hope she makes a speedy recovery.
All the best to both of you
Clive
Thanks Clive... at least she's not in a French hospital ( they're probably as good or better than ours, but it would have been a logistical nightmare )
Happened to me when I was 17. I got Peritonitis from mine so make sure she takes all the antibiotics they throw at her.
Good luck and wish her the best from all of us.
I dunno, some people will do anything to get out of a road trip! :mfr_lol:
