Title: Paint code
Post by: BigAlan on June 04, 2013, 10:09:48 PM
I have the usual black bike and like the way the special edition ZZR has the green bits on the side panels going backwards on the fins, I reckon I could paint mine in the same colour as I have an air brush system at home but does anybody know the paint colour and code?

Anybody got a mate in a dealer who could find out?

Thanks
Alan

Ah yes but they sell aerosols rather than the actual paint I can put in my air brush system, and I guess the touch up stuff would be on a stick type jobbie.

I'll get you a beer when were up there in July.

Thanks
Alan

I thought they sold larger quantities as well  :whistling:

"All paints are available in small touch-up bottles suitable for repairing stone chips, aerosol rattle cans for larger repairs and larger quantities for spray guns. Many of our colors are provided in waterbased paint which we will supply ready thinned. We also supply polyurethane candy colors and single stage acrylic lacquer colors, but you will need to source thinners locally for these. (We cannot ship them due to dangerous goods shipping limitations.) When you receive your order we will provide full application details. Sometimes your paint may be split into smaller containers. This is to ensure we comply with air transportation packaging guidelines. "

Color Rite has the Kawasaki "Golden Blaze" green, that's where I bought my paint, they are in the US but I'd bet they'll still ship to you...
