I'm sure I read recently that someone had a fix for freeing off the adjuster but I am unable to find the thread despite searching.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Cheers,
Allan
I think from memory it was to release the adjuster from the frame, suspend it upside down and squirt lots of Wd40 under the adjuster knob, perhaps ACF 50 will do the same job, leave it then overnight soaking and that would cure it.
I believe it was Neil, SirTou who suggested the above, although I could be wrong.
Top man - thank you!
Will give it a go and see what happens

Well that free'd it off from being completely seized. It's still tight so may have another go at the weekend.
I thought it would have a o-ring in it so avoided oil thinking the o-ring may grow slightly. I guess it must be tight aluminium clearances inside.
Thanks again Lonewolf - appreciated!!
As the actress said to the bishop, mine's always been pretty tight...
