Just wondering what sort of mileage our members bikes have done. I know the engines are supposed to be bullet proof.
Mine is a 2011 with 19,500 miles thus far.
Sep 11 just hit 10k
Bit of a wus me, hates he rain.
Alan
April 09 and almost at 20k
Hi
Trike is 2010, has done 11K
Can this be turned into a poll so we get a nice little diagram?
Richard
When I sold mine last May it had about 26k at 34 months old (09 plate)
Sept 2010 - 23+k
1st 27000 IN 18 MONTH 57 REG
2nd 22000 IN 16 MONTH 09 REG
3rd 13000 IN 18 MONTH 10 REG
4th 2000 IN 6 WEEKS 12 REG
Sept 2007............... 22k
June 11 - 13000 miles
Great stuff keep it going. Interesting we all seem to use the bikes for what they were designed for.
Just interested to see if we have any really high mileage bikes out there.
2011 model with a mere 15000 on the clock. Asif had a high mileage GTR (over 50k) on the clock and I think Boomers is also pretty high mileage.
1st 2008 22000 miles in 11 Months
2nd 2009 32000 miles in 10 months (Debs bike)
3rd 2010 47500 miles in 36 months. - don't see me changing it soon.
Neil
2011 with about 7k. Plan to do another one or two more if I get a day off and it ever stops raining in Rossendale :undecided:
2009 - 50,000 Miles
18,000 in 22 months since owning her after Neil.
9/2011 - 29K
2010 model which I had for 2 years
7,900 miles which included 3,250 miles around france and Italy, 750 miles on a Scotland weekend, 900 miles on a Devon and Cornwall long weekend, 500 miles at the cotswolds weekend and the remainder miles were day rides here and there
not a lot of miles in 2 years for a big comfy tourer  but in my defence I also have the use of a second bike and my car when the weather was or is :shit:
59 plate with 8300, but in my defence, I've done 1600 in the 4months i've owned it.
July 2009 37000, all of them a pleasure.....ahh
Looking at this it looks as if my GTR may be one of the oldest on here. Any other contenders for senior GTR1400 (sorry Boomer not 1000cc) I know they are out there cos I had a test ride on an 07 reg bike at bike safe in 2007.

yes i never seem to have time to turn it on
October 2008 41k (I've only done the last 2k though)
40k now, Sept 2010 bike. Really loving the bike and planning to keep running it for many years yet.
Mechanically superb and reliable, cosmetically not great now due to me being a sponge dodging owner.
Martin.
Aug 2007, 51k miles and still loving it.
They can take it away when they prise my cold dead hand from the throttle!

+1 :agree: Nov 2007 but only done 13000. Still plenty of life in the old dog yet as well as the bike.
March 2011...so 27 months old and just clicked over to 21,000 miles yesterday ! Brilliant and NO complaints whatsoever !

Sorry Barry but my 1400 was registered and in my garage on the 5th August 2007.
They are still the 08 model just sold in 07.
The first ones sold & delivered in the UK were in the last week of July to people who had pre-ordered.
The Yanks had them about a month before we got them so the oldest will be over there or in Japan.
Mine is from June 2010 and has done 20,000KM. That must be about 12,500 miles
Ros
Registered in 07 came to me with 3500 now has 56000 on the clock

That makes me feel better, I thought my one was the oldest one on here. I would change it, if I could find anything as good, but I can't..........
That's decent mileage Dave .. everything still OK ?

Do you know what is knocking?
If that locks up you will be down and sliding before you can start to think :shit: let alone say it.
Reg: May - 2011 - so far... 33.000km - normally I do about 25.000km every year!
