John, welcome. I'd have a look at this web site

I]http://www.ram-mount.co.uk/?gclid=CI7I2-XYpbcCFYjLtAodBQoAIQ (http://www.ram-mount.co.uk/?gclid=CI7I2-XYpbcCFYjLtAodBQoAIQ)

If in doubt call them and see what they suggest.

went to ripon and they have to order everything in which was a pain cos i wanted to see the fittings first to see if was ok . so after a 130 mile round trip i looked at the one off my zzr which fastened in the top yoke . i took out the hex nut on the gtr yoke and glued the rubber/nut in the recess and refitted the yoke nut . BINGO the steel rod with the sat nav ball on the end screwed straight in  . sorted . the orignal one was made by bob telfer (telferizer.com). good bloke and very helpfull.

Hi John welcome, I just fitted a mount for my garmin 765 last night, got it from ram-mount, very good quality unit and easy to fit, if you get one make sure you tap down the actual bracket into the stem mount hole...it makes it very secure and stops it wobbling about on the rubber.

Doesn't tell you that in the instructions...... :biker3:
